PCEF Transportation Decarbonization Roundtable

GTT participated in the PCEF Transportation Decarbonization Roundtable. The roundtable developed equitable and effective program proposals for the Climate Investment Plan (CIP). It brought together diverse perspectives and priorities and provided a constructive space for discussing critical program elements. The group of community leaders convened for three meetings, all held before the preliminary draft of the CIP was released for public review and comment. 

Our discussions centered on a significant funding area: Transportation Decarbonization, with a budget of $100 million. We explored existing efforts in Portland to ensure that all communities benefit from decarbonization strategies. We also identified the core beliefs and values that would guide our decarbonization efforts, forming the foundation for our strategies. GTT helped identify which projects and programs would best help us achieve our desired outcomes, prioritizing solutions that advance PCEF’s mission. Now, the final CIP is ready to be viewed.

It was a rewarding experience to collaborate with such a dedicated group, ensuring our collective vision for a sustainable and equitable future was well-represented!
