Welcome Our New Coalition Manager!

After an extended search, we are excited and delighted to announce our new Coalition Manager, Ariadna Falcon Gonzalez. Ariadna is passionate about community organizing and politics, and has volunteered and worked with diverse communities in the Portland Metro area. During the 2020 election, she interned for Chris Gorsek’s senate campaign and organized phone banks to support the Let’s Get Moving measure. She enjoys working with BIPOC communities, has experience working with OPAL Environmental Justice, Verde, and East County Rising, and is always working to create a more diverse and equitable Oregon. Ariadna believes that equitable transportation is a right and not a privilege, and she is super excited to be working with the Getting There Together Coalition. 

As Coalition Manager, Ariadna will lead our efforts to grow a connected and informed Coalition through policy analysis, community involvement, and engagement with elected and community leaders. She will continue to operate from values-centered and cooperative problem solving in order to co-create and further equitable transportation policies in the greater Portland region.

Ariadna’s pronouns are she/her/ella, and she starts with us on September 1, 2021. Please join us in welcoming Ariadna, and look for opportunities to connect with her this fall!
